Transportation Policy

The welfare and safety of children is of paramount importance. Staff members involved intransporting children have a duty of care towards all children involved in activities. The policy aims to provide practical guidance for transporting children in a manner that keeps children safe whilst also promoting a safe operating environment for staff/volunteers.

This policy has been developed and implemented in consultation with Truth For Youth School Board ofDirectors, Department of Education Services (DES), Truth For Youth School (SL / CL), Truth For Youthleadership team, the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) / Designated Lead (DL), and TruthFor Youth School staff. This policy is required as set out in the Ministry of Education’s Code of Practice:Identification, Assessment and Provision for Additional Learning Support Needs in Education

Charity Volunteers

Volunteer Policy

This policy applies to all volunteers who will have direct contact with our children in our settings activities. For the
purposes of this policy, volunteers are divided into two types: regular volunteers are those who will assist on a regular, on-going basis; one-time volunteers are those who will assist with a specific, one-time activity, usually a class trip.

TFYS HAZARD Management Plan

For the purpose of this policy, students refer to all children enrolled and attending Truth for Youth School, and school refers to all levels of education including early childhood.

TFYS Safe Environment Policy FINAL AND APPROVED

This policy has been developed and implemented in consultation with the whole community at Truth for Youth including children, parents/guardians and staff. At TFY, we provide education for children in both early childhood and primary, ages 4 yrs. to 11yrs. For the purpose of this 
document, the term school includes both early childhood and primary education.

Truth for Youth School (TFYS) is a licensed unit (Kindergarten—Grade 5) operating under the American system of education with approval from the Cayman Islands Department of Education. Our program is one of commitment to Christ as a Christian School and is of the highest academic standard as a regular institution
